From Pixel to Print - Olive Trees in Puglia, Italy
4th November 2020
In this latest 'Pixel to Print' video session, Sam Gregory talks us through an image of ancient olive trees in Puglia, Italy. These trees are currently being blighted by a bacterium which has caused the death of many thousands of trees in Southern Italy, Spain and Greece. Sam talks a little about the background of this situation and reflects upon the needs of the photographer to understand their subject. He also talks through the shooting and processing of the image in something of an Infrared style and then finally produces the print.
Sam has kindly offered to give-away this print, to be in with a chance to WIN just sign up to his newsletter via his website.
For more of Sam's tours please visit his tutor page, including his upcoming trip to Puglia in May 2021.
We'll be back with another livestream next Tuesday evening (10th Nov) with Margaret Soraya discussing shooting locally and inner landscape scenes on your doorstep. Join in live via the Facebook page and you can ask questions and interact on the night.
